You will need:
Equipment
• Ball tool
• Light brown sugar paste – 134g
• Bone tool
• White 50/50 sugar paste/flower paste mix – 10g
• Dresden tool
• Red 50/50 sugar paste/flower paste mix – 6g
• Scalpel
• Black flower paste – 1g
• Blade tool
• Pink flower paste – 2mm ball
• Medium round brush (glue)
• Green flower paste – 1g ball
• Small round brush (glue)
• Yellow flower paste – 5 mm ball,
• Skewer – 8cm
• Sugar glue
• 4 x 3cm cocktail stick pieces
• Shortening (to grease hands)
• 4cm #24 wire
• CMC/Tylose powder*
*I add about 3-5g (1/2 – 1 tsp) of CMC per 200g of sugar paste, depending on the body part.
I add the CMC to the sugar paste shortly before forming the elements.

Step 1:
Roll a 45g ball of light
brown sugar paste. Form
a teardrop shaped body.
Make sure the bottom part
of body is flat. You want
the topper to be sturdy.
Insert the skewer in a
rotary motion.
Step 2:
Use a bone tool to make
indentations for the
buttons.
Step 3:
Roll two 7g balls of light
brown sugar paste. Form
the legs. Insert pieces of
cocktail stick in the legs.
Step 4:
I make holes in the body
using a cocktail stick
before inserting the legs
or arms. It’s easier to push
them in without damaging
them.
