The best thing about decorating
cakes is the people I meet.  I love
getting to travel the celebrations
with my clients from engagements
to baby showers and beyond.  And
of course the great friendships I
have made over cake, some who I
have never met but chat regularly
with over facebook.  Sometimes
only another cake decorator can
understand the cheers, triumphs,
late nights and procrastination
behind each cake.  
But most of all, I love the look on my
childrens faces when they see what
I’m working on.  For their birthdays,
I always get to surprise them and
have to work in secret just so I can
see the look on their face at the end.
