Step 12:
Step 9:
Step 10:
Paint the side of the
joined circles with sugar
glue. Cut out a ribbon of
white fondant and wrap it
around the outer circle to
hide the seam.
Very gently paint some
sugar glue in the areas
you want to put some
glitter. Shake some glitter
over the bauble and let
dry.
Step 11:
Use a small petal cutter
and a balling tool to
create the hanger for the
bauble.
Mix a little royal icing to
gently place your bauble
onto your cake. Secure
it with pins while it dries.
You might need to leave
it overnight. You can add
a little tylose into your
royal icing to quicken the
drying time.
Add the bauble hanger
once the bauble is on the
cake. Add in some detail
by drawing a string line
using a ruler and edible
marker.
You can make any shape
you want! The Christmas
tree is made using the
exact method as above,
by using a template
instead of circle cutters.
