Step 2:
Step 1:
Roll black fondant into
a sausage shape long
enough to be curled
around and sat on the
edge of the dummy for
the grooms legs.
Press in at the back of the
knee to allow it to bend
and shape the leg a little.
Flatten the ends of the
legs to allow for the shoes
to sit flush with the hem of
the pants.
Step 3:
Roll two small black balls
of fondant. Press down
with your thumb to make
the shoes and squeeze
the sides gently to make
them more oval shape.
Step 5:
Add a little tylose to
a small piece of grey
fondant to make it more
workable. Roll out the
fondant thinly and cut
as per the photo to
form a vest. Mark down
the centre and using a
small piping tip, add the
buttons down one side.
Step 6:
Glue the vest to the front
of the body. Roll out black
fondant with a little tylose
added and cut out a rectangle with the corners cut
off one side. This will be
the jacket.
Step 7:
Brush on a little glue to
the back of the body, this
will help hold the jacket
in place while you make
any adjustments required.
Once you’re happy you
can adhere the jacket to
the body. You will find it
will gather a little at the
shoulders, use a small
pair of scissors to cut
away the excess and
use your finger to smooth
down the join.
