Pipe 2 mounds of royal
icing on the top of the 6”
diameter cake.
Place the rings on top of
the mounds and beside
each other.
Step 10:
(Optional) Steam the cake
to give it a light sheen and
finished look.

Cover any visible royal
icing with more gum
paste flowers strategically
placed around the ring.
Cover the top of a 16”
square cake drum and
glue gold ribbon on the
sides to give it a complete
finish. Stack the cakes
traditionally as you would
normally do them, making
sure that you have ample
support to deliver the
cake to its destination.
