score a line in the middle
of the feather shape.
Give the line some curve
in parts, not straight.
For the next step you will
use the thickest side of
the dresden tool.
With the dresden tool
place the flat side down
on the feather and pull the
feather from the middle
out. You will need to
decide which is the top
of the feather and work
all in the same direction,
middle up towards the top
of the feather. Work all the
way around the feather.
