Step 6:
Using a gold paint made from gold lustre dust and
rose spirit, paint the name using the transferred
line as a guide.
To Paint Leaves
Step 7:
Make a few shades of
green paint using rose
spirit and gel colours.
Ensure the gel is well
dissolved, and that you
have some lighter and
some darker shades.
Step 8:
Make sure your
prepared cake is
completely chilled
and the icing has set.
I recommend using the
cake straight from the
fridge to ensure the
buttercream is firm.
Working around the
bottom of the cake,
paint a range of leaf
shapes in different sizes
and shades of green.
Step 9:
Finish cake by placing crown on the top.
