Step 3 :
Once paint transfers are fully dry , use an airbrush to spray on the Amerimist colour . You can also use a paint brush to paint the colours onto the swatches , but I find airbrushing is faster and gives me a more even result . Repeat with all colours you want to use , cleaning the airbrush in between colour changes . Set transfers aside and allow to dry completely .
Step 4 :
Peel your coloured paint transfers off of the baking paper . If they are fully dried , they will come off easily and not leave any residue . Set aside . Outline and flood the remaining section of cookie using a medium consistency icing ( this is where the paint transfers will go ). Use a scribe tool to manoeuvre the icing and make it smooth . While the icing is still wet , place the coloured paint transfers directly on to the cookie . Allow to dry completely .
