Step 53:
Position the jug so the
spout sits behind the rod
and push down so the
rod is inserted an inch or
two inside the poly. You
can help the process but
making a guide hole with
a paintbrush or dowel.
Step 57:
Continue to attach using
your fingertips to press
and prod. You don’t want
this to be smooth so
pinch away!
Step 54:
Coat the exposed part
of the jug, the spout and
top inch or so of the rod
with piping gel.
Roll a small amount of
white fondant, enough to
cover that exposed area.
Attach the fondant and
trim the edges so they
meet the lip of the jug.
Step 58:
Don’t worry too much
about seams because
we can disguise them!
Step 55:
Coat the length of the
rod with a thin layer of
piping gel.
Step 59:
For the milk splash, take
a small ball of fondant
(you can a little tylose if
you feel the need) and
using your fingers first
flatten the ball and then
pull the shape randomly
keeping a rough circular
shape.
Step 56:
Roll out a long thickish
sausage of white fondant,
long enough the cover
the height of the rod and
wide enough to reach
right around the rod.
Step 60:
Make a cut from middle
to edge and widen again
using your fingers and
softening the shape.
