You will need:
• Powdered Petal Dust I used Carolines Apple
Green, Fuchsia, Plum,
Lemon & CK Lime Green.
• Decorators Rose Spirit
• Assorted Paint Brushes
• Paint Palette
• White fondant covered

Start by placing a small
amount of pink dust into
the palette. Add around
5 - 6 drops of rose spirit to
dilute the powder.
Dip a small fluffy brush
into the paint, wiping
off as much excess as
possible.
Start to paint onto the
cake using blotting
motions of the paintbrush.
Keep this blotting motion
to create a circular, floral
shape.
Re- dip the paint brush
into the paint & add
further colour into the
centre of the flower.
To create a more
‘watercolour’ look, place
a clean brush directly into
the rose spirit and brush
onto the pink flower. This
will move the colour &
create a less saturated
look.
