Additional tip:
I prefer a clean chalkboard look with minimal “chalk” dusting. If you would like a dustier look, place the tip of a pastry brush into
a small amount of cornflour and lightly brush over the cake. Take a dry soft brush like a make up brush or a dry chug cloth and
remove the excess cornflour until you achieve your desired result.
Step 19:
Finish your cake by covering
the display board with white
fondant and attaching red
ribbon. Congratulations!
You have now finished your
gorgeous hand painted
chalkboard cake!
