Take your first row petals
Bend the wire at the base of the
petal. You`ll need to do this to all
the petals.
One at a time, tape the petals to
the centre.
Third row, add petals 1 at a time.
Tape the wires all the way down.
The wires should be completely
taped.
Your completed Peony should look
like this.

Second row, add the petals 1 at a
time, overlapping first row.

To mark the dots evenly on to the
cake we need to make a template
out of baking paper. Wrap a strip
of baking paper around the cake,
leaving an overlap. Mark the length
and height to trim.
Place back around cake to check.

To pipe royal icing dots onto
a cake, you will need; freshly
covered cake, piping bag, piping
nozzle (no.3), royal icing, baking
paper, pin (or tape), frilling tool (or
toothpick or pin), baking paper.
