Overall winner: Jacquie Goldstaiz
Cake Bitz Head Decorator
Jacquie’s passion for cake decorating started in 2003
when she began to take private lessons.
Unfortunately Family commitments held her back
until 2009 when she commenced a full year of training. She won Grand Champion, Gold Coast Show at
the end of 2009 and again in 2010. By 2011 she was
teaching her art at Cake Bitz and in November of that
year she was invited to head up the cake department.
Since then she has passed her passion on to many
of her students and remains committed to teaching,
designing and forever growing with Cake Bitz in this
most inspiring industry. She continues to train with
other expert decorators who fuel her relentless passion for beauty and perfection.

From the decorator:
Inspiration: Here in Australia we enjoy
a magnificent bounty of fresh fruits and
vegetables. This entry is my gratitude and
appreciation for the abundance Mother
Nature provides.
The Look : Cornucopia.
“The Horn of Plenty”.
I wanted my entry to have an “old” feel,
with its slate floor, dark timbers, rough
inlays, and a huge ancient horn.
