Metallic colours always convey ideas of luxury, of luxurious bygone eras where gilding almost any detail was a symbol of
elegance and class. This tutorial is a modern design with geometrical elements, almost architectural in their look. The rough
finish of the royal icing and the smoothness of the fondant underneath combines to give depth and difference between this
modern arrangement of tiers. It’s airbrushed in different metallic colours from gold to dark bronze, and finished with a climbing
line of Catleya orchids in contrasting white.
