Chris’ amazing cakes have been
on our radar for a while now, so
while we’re celebrating the males of
our industry we thought it was only
appropriate to find out more about the
man behind Ilma Cakes. We chatted
to Chris about the evolution of his
business, what inspires him, and
what’s next for this up-and-coming
cake designer.
How long has Ilma Cakes been
operating?
It is going on 2.5 years. I actually
did not think it would get past three
months. I am loving it and hope it never
ends. I now understand how people
say if you do what you love you don’t
work a day in your life.
