BEFORE YOU START :
1 . All three parts of the figurine – lower body , torso and head – can be made the same day . However , assembly should be attempted once all pieces have hardened well , at least 24 hours later .
2 . Every time you use the fondant bits , give them a good knead so they are pliable and to avoid cracks in your figurine .
3 . I haven ’ t used any tylose / CMC here , but you can if you want the piece to dry faster . However , unless you work real fast , tylose tends to cause more cracks and drying in the fondant .
4 . Don ’ t stress if both eyes , arms etc are not exactly the same – human bodies are not 100 % symmetrical . 5 . The head has been made to be just so slightly bigger in comparison to the rest of the body .

Step 1 : Step 2 : Step 3 : Step 4 :
Take two 10g balls of blue fondant – roll each into a 3 inch long sausage .
With your xacto knife at a slight angle , cut off ½ and inch from one end .
Go up another ½ inch from the cut end and mark an indent with cel stick / brush end .
Gently roll the indent with your thumb and forefinger to bring out the heel .
