Step 8:
With a tiny ball of black paste create the upper eyelid and cut with cutter. To create the arms take two small
balls of gum paste and form two cylinders. Make a diagonal cut at the end of the cylinder. Flatten the cut with
your finger and at the base of the cutting, apply pressure to create the wrist.
Step 9:
Always cut on the diagonal part of the hand to create the thumb. Make three cuts on the hand to create the
fingers. Finish the arm by pinching in an elbow. Complete the same process for the legs and leave them to dry
naturally, ensuring they are shaped in to the pose required for the final figurine.
Step 10:
Roll a large cylinder and create the bust. Squeeze the sides to highlight the waist
circumference. Gently pull the gumpaste to create the neck, and define the bust
with silicone shapers.
Step 11:
Use your thumb to define the belly and back.
