Step 6:
If you have a piece you aren’t completely happy with,
before you toss it into the re-melt pile, try warming it
a bit on an electric frypan. Place your silicone mat on
the griddle and turn it on to its lowest setting. Briefly
place your agate onto the mat and allow it to warm up
just enough so that it can be bent and shaped a bit.

It does not take long, so watch your piece carefully.
