coloured buttercream in
individual pipping bag
Layer, trim, torte and
crumb coat your cake,
leaving a 2-3mm gap from
edge of cake board.
Double wrap your
ganache lid with cling
wrap with the baking
paper in between.
Pipe some buttercream on
the lid you prepared

Use a spatula to spread
out evenly and cover the
whole lid
Place lid on cake and
press down with slight
pressure. Optional: use
a leveller to help you
achieve a level top
Use your cake scraper to
ensure it is level with your
cake board

rims of ombre buttercream
from bottom up
