Wrap a piece of paper towel around the centre piece until the below thickness is achieved . Tape the paper towel with flower tape to secure .
Bend the wire at the very base of each leaf .
Attach the flower tape to the centre stem . Attach the 5 small leaves ( size 3 ) to the centre stem , lining up the base of the leaf with the bent centre pieces .
Attach the next row of leaves ( 5 leaves , size 3 ) about 0.5cm down the stem , between the first 5 .
Attach the next row of leaves ( 9 leaves , size 1 ) about 0.5cm down the stem , in any gaps that have appeared . Attach the next row of leaves ( 9 green leaves , size 1 ) about 0.5cm down the stem , in any gaps that have appeared , ensuring a balanced overall look .
Attach the next row of leaves ( 5 leaves , size 3 ) about 0.5cm down the stem , between the previous 5 . The flower should now look like the below :
