Place the flat part of another veiner on top of the leaf , and press down hard ( depending on the material of the veiner you may wish to grease the flat side with Crisco beforehand ). You want to apply a decent amount of pressure here so that all the ridges are deeply embedded into the leaf .
Carefully remove the top veiner , and ease the leaf out from the bottom piece . It is important to be gentle at this stage as the veiner may have made some parts of the leaf thin . Once released , the leaf should look like below .
If necessary , slightly re-pinch the bottom of the leaf to tidy up .
Place the leaf on the egg crate foam to dry .
Repeat for remainingleaves .
