Step 10:
Lastly, pipe yellow outline
consistency icing to create dots
on the orange icing, followed
by piping a pink dots below the
yellow icing.
Funky Heart Cookies
Step 11:
For the funky heart cookie, start
by using an edible marker to
create a guideline for the inner
heart shape.
Step 12:
Outline a couple of the
scalloped edges with pink
medium consistency icing.
Add a squiggle of icing inside
each scallop, then use a brush
to drag the icing towards the
inner section to create texture.
This technique is also known as
‘brush embroidery’.

Repeat ‘Step 2’ on all sections of
the scalloped edge with different
coloured medium consistency
icing until all the scalloped edges
are covered in colourful icing.
Then let the icing crust.
Outline and flood the heart
section with white medium
consistency icing.
Use the scribe tool to smooth
out the icing, then allow it to dry
completely.
