3 . Let it ROLL Off Golf is played in a natural outdoor setting with other golfers . There are many different elements that you must learn to deal with . The Weather , the wind , grass conditions , noises , movements , other people ’ s behavior , and many more . That is why people say that golf is primarily a mental game . Learning to focus internally , and not allowing external forces to bother you , will allow you to have more fun .
4 . KNOW your Own Game Everyone wants to be like Tiger Woods . It is good to have goals , but you should also be realistic . If your expectations are too high and you don ’ t back it up with regular practice sessions and lessons , you are not being realistic . Not everyone can drive 350 yards , hit every green in regulation , get up and down from every green-side bunker , or make two putts or less on every green . Knowing your own game and learning not to put too much pressure on yourself will ensure that you have plenty of fun .
