What your role could involve.
• Your first tour will be as Cabin Crew on the Airbus A330-200 Multi Role Tanker Transport Aircraft“ Voyager”.
• You will be the face of the Royal Air Force and interact with all Voyager passengers, including Royals & Ministers.
• You will travel all over the world and be directly involved in world events as they happen.
Once fully trained, RAF Cabin Crew play a vital and exciting role, ensuring the comfort, safety, and welfare of passengers aboard 10 Squadron or 101 Squadron Voyager aircraft, based at RAF Brize Norton. As a key member of the crew, you’ ll be the face of the RAF, greeting passengers as they board and exit the aircraft, providing exceptional service and special attention to those in need. Your duties will include serving meals and refreshments, demonstrating emergency equipment and safety procedures, and ensuring all on-board emergency equipment is in top condition. You’ ll also be trained to administer first aid and handle passenger or crew emergencies with confidence and professionalism.
But the adventure doesn’ t stop there. On promotion to Corporal and with the valuable experience you’ ve gained on the Voyager, you’ ll have the opportunity to compete for a transfer to the prestigious 32( The Royal) Squadron. Based at RAF Northolt, you’ ll fly on the Envoy IV CC Mk 1 aircraft, routinely serving Royals, the Prime Minister, senior Cabinet members, and high-ranking officials of HM Forces. This unique role offers the chance to represent the RAF at the highest levels, delivering world-class service to some of the most distinguished passengers.
Beyond the skies, your role extends to ground-based responsibilities, including House Management and Executive Support. This involves managing RAF Houses, overseeing hotel services, and ensuring smooth operations for high-profile events. Whether in the air or on the ground, RAF Cabin Crew are at the forefront of delivering excellence, combining professionalism, precision, and impeccable service in every aspect of their role.
