Warmer temperatures mean more time outdoors with friends and family. Whether it’s travelling to the cottage, camping or picnics, trust CAA to help with your summer plans. Road trips can be safer through CAA’s roadside assistance. We can help with flat tires (cars and bicycles), key-lock service, fuel delivery, battery charging and towing due to vehicle breakdowns. Always inspect your vehicle before you head out. This includes checking tires and tire pressure, windshield wipers and washer fluid, brakes, car battery and engine oil, plus the air- conditioning unit. For a 10 percent discount on labour, Members can take their vehicle to Regina’s CAA Car Care Centre, located at Regina Battery Depot (RBD), which is owned by CAA Saskatchewan. On road trips, remember that all occupants, including the driver, must wear working seat belts and children should be seated in properly installed car or booster seats. Highways can be congested in summer with more cars, motorcycles, bicycles and RVs on the road. Please be alert and drive with caution. Remember: Always slow to 60 km/h on Saskatchewan highways for working tow-truck operators and first responders. It’s the law.
