to focus on strategic philanthropic giving throughout the region. This report represents an updated
cumulative review of philanthropic activities in the Central America and the Caribbean Region (the
Bahamas, Cayman Islands, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras,
Jamaica, Nicaragua, Panama, Trinidad and Tobago, and the United States Virgin Islands) during the period
of 2004 – 2012.

In addition to its own corporate strategies, Johnson & Johnson committed in 2010 to focus its
philanthropic efforts on achieving the United Nations Millennium Development Goals (MDGs), with the
primary goal being to improve the lives of women and children. The data below represents the
number of direct beneficiaries impacted by local NGOs’ work in the Central America and the
Caribbean Region during their partnership with Johnson & Johnson between 2010 and 2012.
