believe it. She started to run away. The man caught her tightly in the waist and pushed her into the trunk. The cry here did not help. He taped her lips and folded her hands. She did not have a chance to escape because the car was going at great speed. It was getting dark outside. Suddenly, the car stopped. Rose heard the sound of the door opening. She tried to free herself, but it was not possible. He caught her with great force and threw her, like a toy on the ground. If only she had a phone. She wanted to escape at all costs, but she did not know how. Devastated, she looked at the ground. She saw something in the shape of a telephone. The man got back to car for a moment. She went to the tree and bit the ropes that were tied around her hand. She had little time. The stranger could turn up at any moment. She called her boyfriend quickly. He did not answer. The girl had already lost all hope. Suddenly, she heard that the man was closing the car. Without thinking, she took the phone and began to run away. The man ran after her. She climbed the tree without thinking. He could not do it. He ordered her to come down. He said if he doesn’t do it he will kill her. At the same time she felt the vibration on the phone. She saw Chuck’s number on the display. She answered. She was shocked. She could not say a word. He asked her what had happened. She couldn’t say a word. She took a piece of big tree branch and dropped it on the man’s head. He fell on the ground. Rose jumped out of the tree and began to run away. Unfortunately, she had no idea where she was. She was terrified. She did not know what to do. She was sure she would stay here forever. Then she saw a man who went for a walk with his dog. Shaking, she ran to him. She told him everything that had happened to her. He called the police. They came to the road. They saw the car there. She recognized her boyfriend in him. Rose began to cry. She could not believe she was safe now. The police came after a short time. They caught the stranger. After a while, she learned that this man was selling girls at her age and he had been sought for a year. He got a life sentence. Rose was glad that she came home safe and sound. Message of the story: Every child should have a phone with themselves and not go to a remote place without adults. Always tell your parents where you’re going and when you’re going to be back. Article 35: The Government should make sure that children are not abducted or sold. Authors: Jagoda M., Mariola O.
