SANA AND NATAN
Our story refers to the right to privacy and the right to express own opinions. In small city Adlington
lived two teenagers who were in love with each other - Sana and Natan. Natan's family was Jewish.
Sana's family was from Pakistan and they were Muslims. At school Sana didn't have a lot of friends.
Everybody knew about her father who took part in the terrorist attack. As a result she didn't wear hijab.
She wanted people not to compare her to her father. But she always had Natan with her which she
could count on. They spent time together very often. Their favourite places to meet were skate park
and swimming pool. They were really active couple. She was really careful with their dates because
she knew that her mother wouldn't accept a boy who practises another religion. Her mom thought that
she meets with her best friend. But one day she left her phone unlocked on the table. Suddenly her
mom came to her room and she heard ringing. She took the phone and read the message. The message
said: "Hi babe, are we meeting tomorrow?" She was surprised because the conversation was with the
boy named Natan. Sana's mother saw the profile picture of Natan who had yarmulke on his head. She
was furious about that situation because she wanted her daughter to marry another Muslim. She texted
back to him : "We're done! Don't text me again!!!". She didn't accept people who were ‘different’ than
her family. When Sana came back from the bathroom she saw her mother with her phone in her hand.
She asked: -What are you doing with my phone? Mother said: I don't allow you to date with this
Jewish boy! -His name is Natan and I love him very much! I want to change my religion for him and
because what my father has done!- Sana said. Mother answered: " Your father is a hero and it's not
your decision to change your religion.". - It is my right to have freedom of thought, conscience and
religion and by the way you shouldn't read my messages. -said Sana. Her mother locked her in her
room and took her phone. Days went back. She was lonely and missed Natan so much. She decided to
kill herself because she couldn't live without him. One day when she was alone at home and she stood
on the guardrail in the balcony. She wanted to jump but she thought about Natan, about their love.
Suddenly she saw him in front of her house. He shouted: -SANAAAA!!! YOU CAN'T DO THIS!I
NEED TO TELL YOU SOMETHING! I HAVE A GUN! - What? Why do you have a gun?- asked
Sana. - I want to kill your mom because of what your father did to my family. Your father killed my
parents in a terrorist attack. I seduced you to have the chances of revenge. All of a sudden, Sana's mom
came out to the balcony. She took Sana's hand to get out from here. And then Natan pulled the trigger.
