One day Simon went back from school. He was very tired, but he had a lot of homework to do. The
teachers did not understand that students also need to take some rest. Lately he has been going to sleep
very late… too late. He enjoyed taking pictures. He was keen on photography. But he didn’t have time
for his hobby. So he was very sad and dejected. “Well, what can I do...” - he thought. He started doing
chemistry. He hates it. Molecules, atoms, chemical elements. “It is terrible” - he said. When he was
reading a next question, the words, letters became longer and longer... The boy fell asleep. When he
opened his eyes he saw his class. Everyone was happy. It was both weird and stunning. He didn't
understand why all of them feel so awesome. As he remembered today his class was depressed. He
began to listen to what they were saying. The pupils were talking about their plans after school. No, it
was impossible. Last days the whole class was working every evening. Nobody had time for
swimming in aquapark, going out for ice cream or horse riding. Shocked Simon asked his best friend
about it. “What is going on?” His friend answered using a question: "You don't know? We haven't got
homework and we won't have homework anymore!". He was speechless... And suddenly he woke up.
He realized he was dreaming during doing chemistry homework. What he saw few minutes before, his
classmates and friends, it was a dream. It was a wonderful dream. He still had lots to do. It was ten
o'clock in the evening. He did all his homework except one. The task sounded: "Describe one article of
The United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child". He didn't know about the existence of the
children’ rights. Simon was surprised. The boy searched the Internet. He found Article 31 which
concerns the child's right to rest. He learned that he could do something with free time. In the end, he
has the right to it. Next day he told his school headmaster about this article. So now, he can take
pictures and spend free time on his own. He and his schoolmates spend time on the hobbies and what
they like. You have the right to rest. Use it, because you can.
