MY CHOICE
Today, on September 1, I had to prepare myself for the beginning of the school year. I wore a black
skirt and a white shirt. I went into the kitchen, ate breakfast, said goodbye to my parents and went to
school by bus. I ran to get the bus and noticed that the vehicle was late. Superb! - I grunted. I
remembered the first time I was travelling alone. Stress was terrible. I looked at the old post on which
the leaflets were hung and the paint was falling off it. After a while, the vehicle arrived. I got into a
completely new bus. Fortunately, I found a sitting place. I travelled about 30 minutes. I saw a modern-
looking school. I got off the bus and felt very weak, because when I said goodbye to the class before
holidays, we were very much at odds. I was curious how everyone would react to each other. I went to
class when the teacher was reading the attendance list, she just stood on my name. The teacher did not
react to my lateness. I sat next to Amelka, with whom I got along fairly well. Both of us were happy to
see each other. Stress subsided. There was absolute silence in the class, it was unbelievable. The lady
asked us how our holidays had passed. Everyone told few sentences about their trips and newly met
friends. Everyone got a candy because it was our Lady's tradition. After leaving the class, we all
gathered in the corridor in the so-called "our place". We talked as before, I was very happy about it. I
was waiting for a long time for my class to be brought together again. We agreed that on Saturday we
will all go to the park, which was located in the city centre. It was Saturday 2:00 PM when I started to
get ready to meet friends. We all sat on a large blanket, we laughed about our common stories and ate
delicious things ourselves.
