(A Report of Blesso 2018 held at Trichy, Tamil Nadu)
Was it a revival meet? A youth gathering? A Bible
study programme? No!No!No!
It was a programme designed by the partners of
Blessing Youth Mission from Bangalore to refresh the
missionaries. Apostle Paul was refreshed by the visit of the
household of Onesiphorus (2 Tim 1:16). We see this ministry
of refreshing by the saints and for the saints mentioned in 1
Cor 16:18, 2 Cor 7:13 and Phm 7.
The partners decided to host the missionaries working
in Odisha for a period of three days ( Friday, Saturday and
Sunday) in Bengaluru.(They had hosted the missionaries
from Karnataka in 2013 and Tamil Nadu in 2016 ). This time
there were a total of 50 missionary families. They allotted
one missionary family to stay with one partner's family and
the partners accepted the missionaries as their special guests.
The families of the missionaries along with their kids spent
an entire day in an amusement park (WonderLa). On the
second day, the missionaries spent their time with the
partners sharing their testimonies, mission field
experiences, joys and sufferings. It resulted in the generation
of new Preventive Prayer Partners (PPP).
