said,“ The god who answers by fire he is God.”( 1 Kings 18: 24). The people agreed and the contest began. The prophets of baal, did many rituals but nothing ensued. Elijah mocked them,“ Shout louder!” he said.“ Surely he is a god! Perhaps he is deep in thought, or busy, or travelling. Maybe he is sleeping and must be awakened”( 1 Kings 18: 27). And they shouted louder till evening but to no avail.
Then it was Elijah ' s turn, he poured four large jars of water in the altar and then just said a simple prayer with faith and it is written-“ Then the fire of the Lord fell and burned up the sacrifice, the wood, the stones and the soil, and also licked up the water in the trench.”( 1 Kings 18: 38). Amazing, right? Well, victory is always from God. David ' s song of praise in 2 Samuel, chapter 22 is remarkable. He praises God for saving him from his enemies. When foes rise up against you, just don ' t forget that the Almighty God will blaze forth and rescue you.

Everyday don ' t forget to confess all the sins to God and ask for forgiveness. If you walk on your own will, your life will become rotten. In Revelation 20, we see how God will come to judge the living and the dead. The people who did not believe in God will be put in the eternal fire where they will be tormented day and night. The fifteenth verse says,“ If anyone ' s name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.” Thus, we gotta be ready for the Second Coming of Christ otherwise the wrath of God will consume us all.
So y ' all ready? Deuteronomy 9:3 says,“ But be assured today that the Lord your God is the one who goes across ahead of you like a devouring fire. He will destroy them; he will subdue them before you. And you will drive them out and annihilate them quickly, as the Lord has promised you.”
The Wrathful Fire
Sometimes we do things which are not pleasing to God and God hates it. When the sons of Aaron did wrong, they died instantly. It is written in Lev 10: 1 & 2,“ Aaron ' s sons Nadab and Abihu took their censers, put fire in them and added incense; and they offered unauthorised fire before the Lord, contrary to his command. So fire came out from the presence of the Lord and consumed them, and they died before the Lord.” Likewise, the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah did evil in the sight of God and so“ the Lord rained down burning sulphur on Sodom and
Therefore, be strong, fight for the truth and be ready to enter the Kingdom of God and most of all remember that the FIRE ARMY is with you. So go and change the world. I mean take a step atleast. That can be done, right!
