time outpouring of God's Spirit (Joel 2:28). “Dreams” are
for the old, but “visions” for the young! Solomon the wisest
preacher addressed young people so often in his writings.
John wrote his Epistles when he was probably over ninety.
He did not fail to address young people specifically (1 Jn
2:13, 14). It is true young people make mistakes. For that
matter who does not? We praise God that youth and
students constitute the core of this ministry. I am sorry I
am not a teenager, but I am happy I am 42 years (1988)
young! It is never a waste when we invest our time and life
on young people. Several of you dear families are joining
this Students' Fellowship for worship and ministry, and I am
glad you accept the leadership of the youth willingly. By
giving this privilege and opportunity to young people, you
are sending leaders into this world. Lionel is a senior
Engineer in the Government. Sekar is a building contractor

part-time pastor. Lakshmanakumar is a senior technical
officer in a Bank. Ramamoorthy is in the Indian Foreign
Service. Nearly 80 Engineering graduates have gone out
from this college as committed believers and leaders over
these 25 years. There is a sphere of influence around each of
them in public life. The earth is being filled with the
knowledge of the Lord! (The theme of Blesso '72: “Now
David!”)
9. Team Work
Zech 3:8, “Hear, O Joshua, the high priest, you and
your companions who sit before you, for they are a
wondrous sign.”
7:10, “Let none of you plan evil in his heart against
his brother.”
8:17, “Let none of you think evil in your heart against
your neighbour.”
There is no superstar among us. We are all
companions, comrades, colleagues or coworkers. Even God
calls us coworkers with Him. And Jesus calls us His
brothers. We are joint-heirs with Him. We were convinced
from the beginning that only a team work can
accomplish things for God.Daniel and his team! Joshua
and his team! Paul and his team! In 1965 we needed a name
for follow-up purposes. I do not know how many of you
remember our first name? “Gospel Team!” That's it. When
we launched out our public ministry on a wider scale in
1971 we called ourselves an Association. Now since 1987,

to be more specific we call it a Mission.It's true God gives
special grace and enablement to certain individuals for
special task but they should always hide themselves and
project the cause, not their name. This is how team spirit can
be maintained. In the spiritual circles we see exactly the
opposite. Dear young people, don't learn that stuff. We don't
want superstars in Christian ministries. There will be utter
confusion after them!
10. Evangelistic Outreach
Zech 6:8, “See, those who go toward the North
Country have given rest to My Spirit in the North Country.”
6:12, “From His place He shall branch out, and He
shall build the temple of the Lord.”
8:23, “In those days ten men from every language of
the nations shall grasp the sleeve of a Jewish man, saying,
Let us go with you, for we have heard that God is with you.”
9:6, “I will cut off the pride of the Philistines.”
9:16, “His people shall be like the jewels of a crown,
lifted like a banner over His land.”
14:9, “And the Lord shall be King over all the earth.
In that day it shall be The Lord is one, and His name one!”
Revival, Holiness, Anointing, Worship, Bible,
Grace, Warfare, Youth Emphasis, Team Spirit All these
nine towers are the supportive towers from around for the
tenth tower which is Evangelistic Outreach. People come to
know the Lord is one, His name is one, and He alone is King.
Every knee bows before Him and every tongue confesses
that “Jesus is Lord!”TO THE GLORY OF THE FATHER!
Conclusion
Take this promise with you while you go from here.
“The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this
temple; His hands shall also finish it!” (Zech 4:9). What
God has founded through us will be finished through us! We
had our beginnings in the 1960s. “Who has despised the day
of small things?” (Zech 4:10). Only we should not forget
these towers but keep counting and considering them
always “that we may tell it to the generation following!”
