at the external appearance. The real emphasis of the
Scripture is on the inner man than the outward appearance.
But remember, our dressing like our speech, is an outward
manifestation of what lies within us. Our image tells lot
about ourselves to others and how we want others to see us.
We know that we shouldn't be judged on our appearance - but
face it, we are. Think about the message you're sending.
Ask the following questions before you choose a dress
to buy or wear:
Am I going for a fashionable dress to get the approval
and praise of others?
Am I falling for the latest trend to attract others?
Does this outfit in any way display my body parts?
Would the dress stimulate the lust of the flesh or
arouses sexual feeling in others?
Does my worth depend on my apparel?
DEDICATION MELA!
Through the immense grace of our Lord , 11 missionaries
were dedicated in Thanjavur TELC Holy Comforters' Church, by
the Pastor Rev. P. Jeyapal, on 26th March 2017. He challenged the
congregation to give birth to missionaries to bless our Nation. Our
Chairman Mr. Dickson shared the Word of God based on Acts 9:1-
6. Dedication was followed by a Missionary Challenge Meet at
11 am. Around 400 partners were blessed by our General Overseer,
Mr. Lionel's message on the topic “ Missionary Work - The First
Priority.” Mr. Dickson introduced the recently launched
programmes under Bless Bharat - ESAP, EFAM and ESAV.
Missionaries from Andhra, Telangana, Odisha and Maharashtra
shared their field experiences.
A youth meeting, 'Youth Fest'17 was organized on 25th of
March in which 70 students were blessed through the messages of
missionary Saroj and Mr. Lionel
Apart from the above meetings, our missionaries spoke in
the Lent days meetings in St. Peters' Church. We are thankful to
Rev. David Christudas and Rev. Sam Newbegin of St. Peter's
Church and PC members and elders of the TELC Church for
opening their doors for us.We praise God for the contribution of
Late Mr. E.L. Ephraim who was instrumental in planning this
dedication programme.
We give all the Glory and Honor to our Lord and Saviour
Jesus Christ.

As a Christian our behavior sets the tone for how
others see us and our faith. Being modest in our appearance
is just as great a witness to those around us as our words. By
being modest we allow people to see our inner faith rather
than our outer appearance. (1 Peter 2:12 - “Be careful to live
properly among your unbelieving neighbours. Then even if
they accuse you of doing wrong, they will see your
honourable behaviour, and they will give honour to God
when he judges the world.”) (NLT).
Finally, as we read in Phi 2:15, we should aim to keep
ourselves “...blameless and harmless, children of God
without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse
generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world”
(Question answered by Missionary Rose Allen who is
ministering among the young people in Rajasthan)
