in the college campuses or in the office set-ups.
When the enemy comes in like a flood, God is
also raising a banner for Him. He is raising an army
who are not affected by worldly affections; who are
not enticed by the pomp and popularity; who cannot
be seduced by external beauty; who are dead to
worldly ambitions; who do not care about what
people think or say, but care about prayer, Bible
meditation, personal holiness, sharing the Gospel,
leading a prayer cell, and who are sold out for God.
Once we are saved, we become a new target for
our arch-enemy, the devil. He will come against us
with all his might. He may incite people to come
against us and discourage us. He will tempt us to our
maximum capacity and will try to drag us back to our
old life. Therefore we should be well-prepared for the
battle. We need not fight against any person, because
our battle is in the spiritual realm. It needs to be
fought only in prayer. We need to have a strong spirit
and always remember that we are in the battle field.
Many of us lead a defeated life because, we are
casual. We assume Christian life to be an easy-going
life. No, my friend! Christian life is a constant
struggle between the kingdom of darkness and the
kingdom of light. Hence, we should be always on the
guard. Joy and peace is promised in this Christian life
but not the absence of struggles. We will be joyful
and peaceful in spite of the struggles.
Note what Jesus said,
Joh 16:33 - “I have said these things to you,
that in me you may have peace. In the world you will
have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the
world.”
We might face problems one after another. We
might face one failure after another but let us never
lose heart. Jesus is on our side. Our weakness will be
turned into strength. God can use only a weak vessel.
He needs such empty and weak vessels. We should
never develop self-pity and expect people to
understand us always.
As the Second Coming of Jesus Christ is
drawing near, the attacks of the devil are on the rise.
There is filthiness everywhere. It is very easy to lose
our holiness today. Pornography is available in the
God is raising an army of soldiers who can fight
the world and its systems; soldiers who cannot be
bought by the lure of money, soldiers who will be
available for God anytime, soldiers who risk their
lives; soldiers who would sacrifice their lives for the
kingdom of God.
Soldiers keep fighting irrespective of the
enemy's strikes. Soldiers keep fighting no matter
how much they get hurt. Soldiers keep fighting till
death.
Spiritual life is a fight until death. Yes my
beloved, Christian life is a fight until death. It is a
fight of faith. It is an unseen battle. It is the battle in
the hearts and minds of men. It is raging even now.
But let us never forget that we are God's soldiers. 'He
that is in you is greater than he that is in the world' (1
Jn 4:4).
Are you the one God is speaking to? Are you
the one God is waiting for? Are you the one God is
looking at? Do not worry about your educational
background. Do not worry about your family and it's
needs. God will take care of them. Give your cares
unto Him. Take His yoke upon your shoulders.
Today the churches are in need of God's faithful
soldiers; the organizations are in need of God's
soldiers; the institutions are in need of God's soldiers.
The world needs to see a true Christian in their
college and in their work spot.
Will you dedicate your life for the glory of
God?
Will you sacrifice your life, even if it means to
die for God?
“Father I commit my life in Your hands. Let
Your will be done in my life. I do not want to live this
life for my own self. All my time, talents and treasures
are Yours. Use them for your Glory. Amen.”
