Blessings in Tamil Nadu and Maharashtra
Blesso - Tamil Nadu
It was truly a showers of blessing
during 23rd to 26th May 2019 at Bishop
Heber College, Trichy where Blesso-2019 was
conducted. 1266 participants registered
which includes 180 children and 260 young
people. All the six messages were based on the
theme, “Watchfulness”. For the first time, the
BYM IT Team live streamed all the messages
through our website which was viewed by
many of our well-wishers and partners. The
speakers include, Mr. Lionel, Dr. Jeyakumar,
Mr. Mathansingh, Missionaries Manivannan
and Jason, Mr. Suthakar, Mrs. Monica
George, Mr. Benedict, Mr. Peter, Mr. Sandiago
and Mr. David Christian Kumar. The topics
were,
“Watchfulness in personal life”,
“Watchfulness in ministry”, “Watchfulness in
Spirit filled life”, “Watchfulness against false
doctrines”, “Watchfulness in family life” and
“Watchfulness for Second Coming.”
Singing sessions were led by Bro.
Kishan and his team. The team from Odisha,
performed a tribal dance and challenged the
participants with their testimonies. Two new
tracts were published - 'HaiDeepa'(Tamil) and
'The Love That Changed My Life' (English).The
'Blessing Podcast' channel in our website was
dedicated for the glory of God. The Bless
Bharat team elucidated the Lord's doing
during the five years and also introduced two
new programmes, 'Rebuild 2021' and 'ECAV'
(Every Church A Village). The drama by the
Thiruvallur team on the life of missionary
Ragland made a lasting impression on the
minds of the participants. The youth sessions
and the children sessions were a blessing too.
On the evening of the second day,
theprogramme was facilitated by the Bishop
of TrichyThanjavur Diocese Rt. Rev.Dr. D.
Chandrasekaran and also the Pricipal of the
Bishop Heber College Dr. D. Paul
Dhayabaran. A special thanks to the college
administration for allowing us to use their
premises.
As an outcome of this camp, 68
committed for fulltime, 51 decided to form
Deborah prayer cell, 77 for village ministry,
89 for SFJ prayer cell, 75 for ESAP prayer cell,
42 committed as Mission Mobilizers, 28
committed for literature ministry and 56 new
sponsors were raised. The total literature
sales was Rs.1,62,172/-
The camp would not have been
successful had it not been the sacrificial
labours of the leaders and volunteers of the
Tamil Nadu Lay Team. May God bless them
abundantly. All the sermons are available in
the Youtube channel, BYM Media Wing. All
glory to Him!
Blesso - Maharashtra
Blesso in Maharashtra was held
in Lavahala, GEMS campus from 27th to 30th
May 2019. Prayers were made for this camp
for several months. A total of 235 people and
50 children participated in this meeting. All
the messages and programmes were based on
this year's theme - “Watchfulness”. The Word
of God came as dew upon the dry land and
many people were anointed by the Holy Spirit.
There were separate sessions for families and
young people in the afternoon. During the
evenings cultural programmes and
testimonies by our various church believers
challenged the new comers and strengthened
their faith. The camp ended with the Lord's
Supper. A special thanks to Mr.
MegnathPawar, Principal of GEMS Bible
College for his help in organising this camp in
their premises. We believe the fire kindled
during this camp will spread like a wild fire.
