The count was buried at the Lychakiv
Cemetery; and almost 50 years later,
on the completion of the institution
of Drogovyzh, he was reburied in the
family chapel. Today, the last refuge
of the Skarbeks is totally abandoned.
The chapel, robbed by vandals and
destroyed by time, stands as a witness
of the merciless fate towards the life
of this great, however contradictory
personality. Currently, it is not known
what has happened to the remains of the
famous patron of Lviv and Mykolaiv. The
chapel of the Skarbeks stands empty in
the middle of the forest, far beyond the
boundaries of the memory of ungrateful
descendants.

between Drogovyzh and Demnya, was
built by Stanislaw Skarbek according to
the project of his Austrian residence,
situated in the town of Nussdorph
The edifice is shaped like letter”П”;
with its middle section having three
storeys, and two side ones being fourstoried structures; next to which, two
conventionalized five storied towers
