New organisation Common Good
Food launches from Fife Diet
A brand new organisation that will champion
community-scale food production is emerging
from the Fife Diet, Scotland’s most successful
local food project.
Common Good Food is a not for profit organisation
that will be working with communities to help them grow
more food, running a series of practical programmes
on building up skills, developing better equipment, and
exploring food culture using the creative arts.
The organisation’s founders - three of the team from
the Fife Diet - see Common Good Food as a facilitator
for the next stage in Scotland’s local food movement,
which will see an increase in the production and
distribution of home-grown produce.
