..person I’m sure I have ran into waiting in line for the bathroom or trying to hail a cab. No, maybe you look familiar from that one time we stood next to each other and ate Famous Joe’s Pizza at 4am? (HINT: best pizza in NYC.) Either way, I’m glad to see you have turned here instead of the Internet to actually find out where all the buzz-worthy places are.

If you are not a regular, and new to New York, welcome! I hope you have had a chance to settle in because once you continue reading I can assure you your nights are going to be booked and you will need your days to rest (and go to work/school or whatever you do in-between).

This magazine is all about where to go out, how to get there, events you cannot miss and creating (sometimes forgettable) memories. In order to guide you where to go, I had to take one for the team and discover them myself. Having two years under my belt, I am prepared to share my findings and best secret spots in the city with you.

I know from experience what is it like to move to this spectacular, fast-paced city feeling like there is so much to do, so many places to go and not knowing where to start. Well, you my friend are ahead of the game because in this issue, I will tell you where to begin…and of course it starts at happy hour.

I also know from experience that even in NYC, the same scenes can get old fast. I mean what’s there to look forward to if you do the same thing every weekend in a row right? Time to shake up your itinerary and learn there are way more places to go than just the infamous 1 Oak.

I was inspired to create this magazine not because I like to get drunk and party, but because I remember the exciting novelty of being in a slightly unfamiliar city. I say unfamiliar because even though I have been to NYC before, I had never had the privilege to stay overnight until I moved here. The first place I went out to was a local bar, to pregame of course. This night went from casual to spontaneous real fast when my roommate and I decided to find a club to continue the night; and oh how the night continued. We found the perfect place to experience our first NYC night in. PH-D is a club with the most memorizing rooftop view. This night seemed so surreal, mainly because even with the Empire State Building in front of my face, I still could not believe I was living in NYC. I am determined to make everyone who reads Buzzed understand that feeling.

Get ready to discover why they call New York the city that never sleeps.

Always be in the known,

Hello again ...
