County Commissioner Iris Rudder won unanimous approval from the Legislative Committee earlier Thursday evening to create a new panel called the Budget Committee. Rudder told members a commissioner from each of the eight districts would give citizens more access to budget management than the present five-member Finance Committee.
The panel established to explore whether to renovate South and North Middle Schools or build a new one will meet early next month to start the process. Dick Wolff has this Buzz Moment.
