There will be plenty of summer fun to celebrate this weekend at Estill Springs City Park.
The Estill Springs Lions Club invites everyone to come out to the park for its annual Estill Springs Community Celebration Saturday, featuring fun for the entire family and an awesome fireworks show to top off the fun at dusk.
Gates open at 1 p.m. with free kids games, featuring inflatables and make-it-and-take it crafts and more. The Estill Springs Lions Club will provide delicious concessions all afternoon.
A talent show kicks off at 1 p.m. with all ages welcome to showcase their talent.
Bingo games start at 1 p.m. and at 2 p.m. a car, tractor and motorcycle show will be held. Registration to enter a car in the show is from 1 to 2 p.m. Cost to enter a car is $10. Prizes will be awarded at 4 p.m.
History buffs will enjoy the Civil War demonstration and display. WZYX will provide games throughout the afternoon for various age groups. The radio station is also covering the talent show and will provide music.
A fireworks show will cap the celebration off at around 9 p.m.
Please bring lawn chairs or a blanket and get comfortable for one of the best shows all around.
Eules and Martha Cossey of Estill Springs will be honored with the title of “Mr. and Mrs. Estill Springs.” The couple celebrated its 65th wedding anniversary this year on April 21. Come by to meet and greet this couple. They were presented with flowers from Tullahoma House of Flowers and a chocolate basket from Waters Edge Chocolates.
