New Mentors
Mrs . Jefferson :
She has been a mentor of Buzz Robotics for two years . She was recruited by another mentor on the team after being involved in FIRST related events for years before . Mrs . Jefferson previously participated on teams 1124 and 3125 as a student and mentored teams 181 , 571 , and 3718 . Mrs . Jefferson works specifically on management , production , fundraising , recruitment and so much more .
She currently works as a School Counselor at Enfield High School because she likes the impact on students that she can have .
Mr . Nathan Pearce :
He has been a mentor on our team for almost a year now . Before Buzz , he was involved in team 7127 for 4 years as a mentor . He joined Buzz Robotics because it was too expensive to fly to Australia to mentor so Buzz was the next best option . Mr . Pearce offers his assistance in any area where a mentor is needed in order to best educate his students .
Mr . Pearce is an Information tech expert also known as the head of Cloud Infrastructure . He has been in technology related jobs for approximately 18 years .
Mr . Pete Polis :
Pete was formerly a student on Buzz for all of his 4 years at High School and wanted to come back and mentor the team to create new memories and excitement for the new students at Buzz . He specifically works with the Programing subgroup in Buzz like he was when he was a student . Pete works as a Software Engineer .
