Volunteering
University Day :
In order to spread more knowledge for FIRST teams , Buzz Robotics held University Day . Various sessions were run on how to manage an FRC team , saving money on part purchases , and applying for the prestigious Impact Award . Students and mentors helped run and present for University Day and volunteers also helped out a ton .
FIRST LEGO League Volunteering :
Buzz volunteered at the FIRST LEGO League Challenge CT State Championship at Glastonbury High School . We helped with roles like judging , reffing , table reset and other jobs to help the event run smoothly . One of our lead mentors , Mrs . Jefferson , even won the volunteer award for her hard work and dedication to this event .
