Ward, based in Pontypridd, creates pieces using a process of sketching on location, applying mixed media and completed at Oriel Davies, in Newtown, Powys, has three exhibitions running from mid-November until late January. These include Fluent Aphasia by Lydia Meehan, a multidisciplinary artist who presents video work here on the subject of memory and how it disintegrates. Hodgkin Paintings and drawings from the collection of Hodgkin, a British artist who has been collecting Indian art since he was in school. It includes illustrations of epics and myths, royal portraits and scenes of court life and hunting, plus a large group of elephant portraits.
