CATHY MILES: THE PIGEON FANCIER Craft In The Bay, Cardiff Bay, until Sun 12 May. Admission: free. Info: 029 2048 4611 / www. makersguildinwales. org. uk Artist Cathy Miles has joined Craft In The Bay as guest Artist in Residence and will be offering two-hour workshops, in which people can learn to sculpt in wire as part of an interactive exhibition. Workshop participants are invited to join Miles in creating life-sized pigeons from wire which will then become part of a growing installation. Each participant’ s creation will wear a name tag around its ankle and will be available to take home after the exhibition has finished. The installation will see the creation of a wire pigeon coop and pigeons will be placed throughout the gallery in various life-like positions. If you fancy sculpting your own pigeon and becoming part of this exhibition, the Bay is the place to be in early May.
