LIVE @ SINGLETON PARK Singleton Park, Swansea, Sun 30 June. Tickets: £ 4- £ 8. Info: 01792 637300 Singleton Park has hosted many fantastic events in the past few years. Until 2006, the venue accommodated Party In The Park, a festival of popular chart act performances, whilst the dance-based Escape Into The Park still remains popular choice for clubbing fanatics. This year, the Swansea Bay festival has announced a new event to take place in Singleton Park,‘ Live @ Singleton Park’. Opening its doors at 2pm, the festival will play host to different comedians and musicians across the city. Local performers and tribute acts will appear under a big-top marquee: local outfit The Fevers, soul / Motown revue Soul Jam and Take That 2, a tribute to Take That as you might imagine. With an unconfirmed headliner the event still holds some mystery, and looks to be a great afternoon out( weather permitting).
