CELEBS ABOVE PAR
Forget singing, dancing or skating. This summer, 24 famous faces will be putt-ing their golf
skills to the ultimate test in the Celebrity Cup Golf Tournament.
Stars including comedian Rob Brydon, Boyzone members Ronan Keating and Keith Duffy, and
model Jodie Kidd will make up four teams of six (representing England, Scotland, Ireland and
Wales) and will fight it out for the coveted Celebrity Cup Trophy.
Last year’s Celebrity Cup was a massive success, managing to raise a staggering £65,000 for
charity and even attracting a visit from Britain’s much loved TV presenter duo, Ant and Dec.
This year’s batch of celebrities will no doubt be putting fiercely for the Celebrity Cup Trophy,
which Scotland will be defending after having won the inaugural competition last May.
The event promises a full family day out, complete with interactive retail village and the
opportunity to get up close and watch the celebrities
