Oliver Opgen-Rhein Choo Guan Yeoh Mark Freeman Paul Hidaka senior equity sales trader HSBC Germany Managing Director UBS Head of Electronic Trading Sales Kepler Cheuvreux Senior Electronic Salestrader JPMorgan Choo Guan Yeoh joined UBS in 2001 and has been involved in Equities business in the APAC region, covering ASEAN, Hong Kong, China, Taiwan and India. She is now based in Singapore, managing Singapore Equities since 2012 and ASEAN Equities currently. Her tenure in the region has proven instrumental in conducting block transactions. Mark Freeman joined Kepler Cheuvreux in September 2008 to head sales of the electronic trading product to the firm’s priority research accounts, with particular focus on institutions in the UK, Holland and Scandinavia. His current role is Head of AES Sales and Sales Trading, covering the firm’s European accounts. Mark has over 20 years’ experience in the electronic trading space. He initially joined Instinet in 1990, where he was head of UK and European sales. He then spent 5 years at ITG Europe, covering European institutions and hedge funds and in addition, has worked for Portware and Nyfix. Paul Hidaka is a senior salestrader on JPMorgan’s Electronic Trading desk in New York. He graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 2004 and joined JPMorgan in the firm’s Tokyo office, where he started his career in Portfolio Trading before moving into Electronic Trading. Paul has been in New York since 2010 where he focuses on European and Asian based clients trading into the Americas. Oliver Opgen-Rhein joined the bank in mid 2000 and serves German-speaking customers around the theme Global Sales Trading with a focus on German mid caps, European products and emerging markets. Oliver has accompanied several capital market transactions such as share buybacks, placements, IPOs and stake buildings in recent years. Since 2009 he has always been top ranked in different Sales Trading catagories of the well regarded "Thompson Extel" client survey. Previously, Oliver worked at Deutsche Bank in various departments, thus bringing more than 20 years of experience in the industry. 14 www.buysideintel.com October 2016
