In the next issue of the Buy-side Perspectives, we will be
focusing on the feedback from our September forums in Asia
(Singapore, Hong Kong), Frankfurt and Paris. We will also be
preparing for the Buy-siders' Choice Awards in November.
On our agenda will be the evolution of the European, Asian
and North American capital markets with new services and
how to analyse and minimise market impact, difficulty to trade
and gaming vs. opportunity cost; new trading challenges due
to inflows to passive funds/exchange traded funds; reviewing
sell-side partnerships after the electronification of sell-side
brokerage; and the anticipated effects of Brexit on the global
asset management community.
We will also be exploring fixed income trading challenges and
opportunities in each European, Asian and North American
market; trading bonds in Europe, Asia and the USA as well as
team management.
In foreign exchange, we will be exploring how to strike the
right balance between automation and high touch trading
in the major currency pairs, trading technologies, as well as
organising and managing the foreign exchange trading desk.
To help you with the upcoming annual performance
reviews, we will explore the latest status of the 2016 buy-side
remuneration benchmark research.
Above all, we will be looking forward to sharing more
interesting buy-side opinion and analysis. Until then, we hope
you enjoy the summer holidays. Stay tuned, and see you next
time!
