Wolfner Library is a free library service for Missourians who are unable to use standard print materials due to a visual or physical disability . Materials are mailed to and from library patrons to their homes , with paid postage . There is no charge to the patron .
The library ' s collection includes both fiction and non-fiction audio and Braille books for all ages . More than 70 magazine subscriptions are available , and the library loans playback machines to those using audio books .
The Friends of the Polk County Library offer a homebound book delivery program . Participants of the program have :
� Access to books , audio books , videos and DVDs .
� Have materials delivered once a month by a volunteer .
